Headquarters or at Mihingo Lodge. Once the dust has settled
it'll be time to raise a little with an introductory game
drive. Ride with; zebras, topi, kob, waterbuck, eland, etc.
We have found that our ATVs hardly disturb these animals if
ridden with a sensible throttle. While in the park we are
required to only use the existing tracks. Over 300 species
of birds have been recorded in the park area. You will be
pleased to know that there are no elephant or lion though,
making it possible to do this unique type of game viewing
safari in safety.
Evening - sundowners and dinner at the Lakeside Restaurant.
Hippos come out at this time (they are only active at night
and can get sunburnt if out of the water during the day).
'Jennifer' likes munching on the grass within a few feet of
the restaurant and there are always warthogs and monkeys nearby.

Kachera and turn south following the twists and turns of the
lake shore. This will be through bush and swamps often over
areas with no paths - we use a compass for navigation. Although
