Shorthaul
ATV Safari
A
big spoonful to taste what we offer. Ideal for those with limited
time to see some of the beautiful sections of the river. Also suitable
for children and anyone who doesn’t want too much of a challenge
along the way or would just prefer to enjoy a cruise through this special
part of Uganda.
The training
session beforehand prepares everyone for the easy start to the ride that
leads downstream from Bujagali Falls to Kyabirwa Falls (Total Gunga is
the class 5 rapid found at this point) where with the right timing, it
is possible to see rafters being ‘trashed’ from your high
and dry perspective, overlooking the ‘G-spot’. Beautiful places
to take pictures as you have the first 4 km of the River Nile lain out
before you. Keep an eye out for the bikini girls! |

Afterwards
we wind our way back through the farms, forest and village sections using
routes that most suit the group. An easy trek for younger children and those
that don’t want it too difficult or more adventurous for those that
do want it and are ready to manage it. Obviously, on the longer trips, you
will become more proficient in driving your machine and we can therefore
take you on more sections that are difficult. |

|
| A
free training session is included before the trip starts so you
need to allow about 1 and ½ hours to complete and you may wish to
stay for a complimentary Ugandan tea, coffee or a cold drink when you get
back, in our CAFÉ. Note that the guide carries bottled mineral water
(supplied by us) for you. We highly recommend that you take a camera, as
you will be visiting some parts of Africa that most visitors never get to
see. Protective clothing; overalls, helmet, goggles and boots are available
for you. We do request that your legs are covered, that you wear closed
footwear (eg. sneakers) and that you protect that most valuable appendage,
your head, with a helmet. The
best ATV safaris on the planet!
